Vacqueyras

For 3 generations, the Domaine de Montbayon has been managed by the same family, thoroughly passionate about vineyards, nature and wine. This property benefits from an exceptional exposure to the setting sun, in the foothills of the ‘Dentelles de Montmirail’.

Black Grenache along with Syrah.

Deep ruby red colour. Intense aromas of small red fruits, black cherry jam notes and violets when young. As it ages, it reveals a fragrance of liquorice and spices. Delicate, complex and full-bodied wine with harmonious tannins and great length.

Open at least 1 hour before serving between 17° and 18°C. Excellent now it can be cellared up to 5 to 7 years after release. Delicious with roasted meat, game, spicy dishes, pepper steak or curry veal stew,  Mediterranean cuisine such as Osso Bucco or roasted lamb with spring vegetables.
